• Visiting Wooster scored the game-winning touchdown on a 5-yard run with 6 seconds remaining to beat Oberlin (1-5, 1-4 NCAC), 27-21. It was the second straight week the game was decided in the final minute for the Yeomen, who have lost four in a row. Zach Taylor threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns for Oberlin, which led, 14-0, at halftime.

• C.J. Conrad (Keystone) and Kentucky were off this week. The Wildcats return Oct. 20 against Vanderbilt.

• Quarterbac­k D’Angelo Fulford and running back Josh Petrurccel­li paced Mount Union (6-0, 5-0 OAC) in a 77-3 rout of host Capital. Fulford threw six TD passes. Petruccell­i rushed for a career-high 140 yards and two touchdowns.

• Host Baldwin Wallace (5-1, 4-1 OAC) took care of Muskingum, 44-7. Jake Hudson threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns.

• Host Case Western Reserve (5-1) rolled past St. Vincent, 37-7. Colt Morgan caught 15 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns for the Spartans.

• Jamauri Bogan ran for two fourth-quarter touchdowns and Anton Curtis sealed the win with two late intercepti­ons as visiting Western Michigan (5-2, 3-0 MAC) beat Bowling Green (1-6, 0-3), 42-35.

• Tyree Jackson threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score and host Buffalo (6-1, 3-0) breezed to a 24-6 victory over Akron (2-3, 0-2) in the MAC. Buffalo is 6-1 for the first time since 1959.

• Freddie McGee III poked away a two-point conversion pass in the back of the end zone and Eastern Michigan (3-4, 1-3 MAC) held off Toledo (3-3, 1-1), 28-26.

• Gus Ragland threw for a touchdown and ran for another to help host Miami of Ohio (3-4, 3-1 MAC) beat Kent State (1-6, 0-3), 31-6. Kenny Young ran for 90 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 47 yards for the RedHawks.

• Marcus Jones ran 2 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with 4:51 left and left tackle Max Scharping caught a pass for the 2-point conversion as host Northern Illinois (4-3, 4-0 MAC) battled back from a 21-9 deficit after three quarters to earn a 24-21 victory over Ohio (3-3, 1-1).

• Tua Tagovailoa passed for 265 yards and three touchdowns before leaving with an injury in No. 1 Alabama’s 39-10 victory over Missouri (3-3, 0-3 SEC). The Crimson Tide improved to 7-0 (4-0).

• Former Ohio State quarterbac­k Joe Burrow passed for 200 yards and had two short touchdown runs, LSU’s defense staggered visiting Georgia’s normally prolific offense, and the 13th-ranked Tigers (6-1, 3-1) beat the No. 2 Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1), 36-16, to give Coach Ed Orgeron a signature victory.

• C.J. Verdell scored on a 6-yard run in overtime and host No. 17 Oregon (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12) knocked off No. 7 Washington (5-2, 3-1), 30-27. Verdell finished with 111 yards but none were sweeter for the Ducks than the final 6, when he sprinted nearly untouched on thirdand-goal and set off a wild celebratio­n in the east end zone of Autzen Stadium.

• Ian Book threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Miles Boykin with 5:43 remaining and visiting No. 5 Notre Dame remained unbeaten at 7-0 with a 19-14 win over Pitt (3-4).

• Brian Lewerke threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Felton Davis with 19 seconds left to lift visiting Michigan State (4-2, 2-1) past No. 8 Penn State (4-2, 1-2), making it two consecutiv­e seasons that the Spartans used a late score to hand the Nittany Lions a second straight loss.

• Shane Buechele came on for injured quarterbac­k Sam Ehlinger early in the first quarter and host No. 9 Texas (6-1, 4-0 Big 12) beat Baylor (4-3, 2-2), 23-17.

• McKenzie Milton threw for 296 yards and ran for the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter for visiting No. 10 Central Florida (6-0, 3-0 AAC) in a 31-30 victory over Memphis (4-3, 1-3).

• Jordan Scarlett ran 48 yards for the go-ahead touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter, and visiting No. 14 Florida (6-1, 4-1 SEC) rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat Vanderbilt (3-4, 0-3), 37-27.

• Jordan Ellis ran for a touchdown and host Virginia (4-2, 2-1 ACC) kept No. 16 Miami’s high-powered offense from ever getting going in a 19-13 victory over the Hurricanes (5-2, 2-1).

• Freshman Brock Purdy threw for 254 yards and three TDs and host Iowa State (3-3, 2-2) throttled sixth-ranked West Virginia (5-1, 3-1), 30-14, handing the Mountainee­rs their first loss in emphatic fashion.
