Lorain’s dynamic offense was too much for the Bedford Bearcats on Oct. 19 as the Titans ran away with the victory, 39-2.

The Titans wasted no time marching down the field on their first drive of the game. Running back Daylin Dower was the first to score for the Titans with a 10-yard scamper, giving the Titans the early lead 7-0.

Bedford gained momentum on the defensive side of the ball with a safety. However, the Bearcats fumbled on their next possession giving the Titans the ball back.

Lorain was unable to score on the following drive, but an interception by the Titans gave them the ball back and Lorain did not look back from there.

The Titans’ continued to stay red hot with the running game with another 10yard touchdown run from Dower, putting the Titans up 13-2.

The defense for Lorain continued to make impact plays forcing another Bearcat fumble, positioning them on Bedford’s 42 yard line. The Titans capitalized off the turnover with a 25yard touchdown throw from quarterback Jordan Jackson to wide receiver Tyshawn Lighty.

Lorain continued to put the ball on the ground with a 15 yard touchdown run coming from Dower his third of the game.

Dower scored another rushing touchdown with Lighty capping the scoring on a 25-yard pass from Jackson.

Running back Daylin Dower had 13 carries for 162 yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Jordan Jackson was 13-for18 for 96 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception.

“Our offensive line all year has been getting better and better...it was fun to see us run the ball like we did tonight.”

“It feels good to win because losing to Maple and us not making it to the playoffs, it really hurt our confidence. However, having a dominant win tonight it really helps our confidence.
