• Host Wabash sent Oberlin (1-6, 1-5NCAC) to its fifth straight loss, 32-7. Zach Taylor threw for 244yards and one touchdown for the Yeomen.

• Host No. 14Kentucky (6-1, 4-1SEC) beat Vanderbilt (3-5, 0-4), 14-7. C.J. Conrad (Keystone) did not catch a pass.

• Host Mount Union (7-0, 6-0 OAC) posted its second shutout of the season with a 54-0 rout of Heidelberg. Andrew Roesch (Avon) had a sack and a safety. Josh Petruccell­i rushed for 101yards and two touchdowns.

• Freshman Jaret Patterson rushed for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter as visiting Buffalo (7-1, 4-0MAC) rallied from 10points down to defeat Toledo (3-4, 1-2), 31-17.

• Darnell Woolfolk scored on a bruising 7-yard run up the middle in the second overtime,

• Kato Nelson completed a pass to Andre Williams for an 8-yard score in overtime and visiting Akron’s defense stopped a 2-point conversion as the Zips (3-3) beat Kent State (1-7), 24-23, on a rainy Saturday to keep the wooden Wagon Wheel trophy for the fourth straight year.

• Nathan Rourke threw for four touchdowns on eight completion­s and host Ohio (4-3, 2-1 MAC) defeated Bowling Green (1-7, 0-4), 49-14, spoiling the debut of interim head coach Carl Pelini.

• Host Kentucky Wesleyan had no problem with Lake Erie (0-8, 0-6GMAC), 46-6. The Storm took a 6-0lead at 6:41 of the first quarter on a 33yard

• Host Wilmington scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, but Baldwin Wallace (6-1, 5-1 OAC) held on, 35-33. Jake Hudson threw for 285yard and two scores.

• Visiting Case Western Reserve (6-1, 5-1PAC) topped Geneva, 27-14. Freshman Drew Saxton threw three touchdown passes.

• Shea Patterson threw two touchdown passes and visiting No. 6Michigan (7-1, 5-0 Big Ten) snapped a streak of 17consecut­ive losses to ranked teams on the road with a 21-7victory over No. 24 Michigan State (4-3, 2-2). The Wolverines had lost eight of 10against their in-state rivals and those setbacks have led to them not winning a Big Ten title since 2004.
