• Visiting Ohio Wesleyan sent Oberlin (1-7, 1-6 NCAC) to its sixth straight defeat, 22-13. The Yeomen, who trailed by 17 at halftime, closed their deficit to 20-13 on a 56-yard touchdown pass from Zach Taylor to Ryan Gleeson with 3:37 left in the fourth quarter. But Ohio Wesleyan’s Natrone Barnes returned the point after attempt for two points and the final margin.

• D’Angelo Fulford threw a career-high seven touchdown passes and visiting Mount Union (8-0, 7-0 OAC) defeated Ohio Northern, 5524. Andrew Roesch (Avon) had three sacks, and Josh Petruccell­i rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown for the Purple Raiders. • Jimmy Marshall kicked a career-long 42-yard field goal as time expired to lift visiting Baldwin Wallace (7-1, OAC) past Marietta, 30-28.

• Host Lake Erie (0-8, 0-6 GMAC) trailed by two points early in the fourth quarter. But Tiffin pulled away for a 40-28 victory. Javarian Smith rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another for the Storm. Desmond Turner caught seven passes for 140 yards and a TD.

• John Carroll rushed for 614 yards in a 66-19 victory over host Wilmington on Oct. 27, setting school and conference records along the way. The Blue Streaks (7-1, 6-1 OAC) smashed the previous JCU record of 439, set in 1968. The

OAC mark of 605 had stood since 1960 and was held by Muskingum.

• Notre Dame College scored the go-ahead touchdown with 13 seconds remaining, and the Falcons clinched the Mountain East Conference championsh­ip with a 17-10 victory over visiting Charleston. Jaleel McLaughlin, who rushed for 185 yards for the game, finished a seven-play drive with a 10-yard touchdown run to put the Falcons (9-0, 9-0) up for good. • Cameron Brown tallied three sacks and a 15-yard intercepti­on return for a touchdown as visiting Case Western Reserve (7-1, 6-1 PAC) beat Bethany, 34-3.

• Van Edwards rushed 20 times for 112 yards and a touchdown and host Akron (4-3, 2-2 MAC) survived four lost fumbles to beat Central Michigan (1-8, 0-5), 17-10.

• Trevor Lawrence threw four touchdown passes, and visiting No. 2 Clemson (8-0, 5-0 ACC) handed Florida State (4-4, 2-4) its worst home loss in program history with a 59-10 victory. Lawrence completed 20 of 37 passes for 314 yards before leaving late in the third quarter. Tee Higgins and Amari Rodgers each had two touchdown receptions.

• Jake Fromm threw three touchdown passes, ending speculatio­n about freshman Justin Fields supplantin­g him, and No. 7 Georgia (7-1, 5-1 SEC) beat No. 9 Florida (6-2, 4-2), 36-17. • Kyler Murray passed for 352 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score to help host No. 8 Oklahoma (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) beat (3-4, 1-4) Kansas State, 51-14.

• Terry Wilson threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to C.J. Conrad (Keystone) on the final play to lift visiting No. 12 Kentucky (7-1, 5-1 SEC) past Missouri (4-4, 0-4), 15-14 (full story).

• Gardner Minshew completed his first 19 passes of the second half and drove visiting No. 14 Washington State (7-1, 4-1 Pac-12) to a 42-yard field goal by Blake Mazza with 19 seconds remaining to put the Cougars in sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 North with a 41-38 victory over No. 24 Stanford (5-3, 3-2).

• Linebacker Evan Weaver scored on a 36-yard intercepti­on return in the third quarter after visiting No. 15 Washington (6-3, 4-2) made a change at quarterbac­k, and California (5-3, 2-3 Pac-12) overcome a sluggish day offensivel­y to win, 12-10.

• Nick Fitzgerald threw for 241 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores to lead host Mississipp­i State (5-3, 2-3 SEC) over No. 16 Texas A&M (5-3, 3-2), 28-13.

• Nick Scott intercepte­d a pass to thwart No. 18 Iowa (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) at the Penn State 2 with 3:18 left, and the No. 17 Nittany Lions (6-2, 3-2) held on to avoid a third straight home loss, 30-24.

• Clayton Thorson ran for two touchdowns and threw a scoring pass to help host Northweste­rn (5-3, 5-1 Big Ten) beat No. Wisconsin (53, 3-2), 31-17. • D’Eriq King had a hand in a career-high seven touchdowns, throwing for 419 yards and five scores and running for 134 yards and two more touchdowns for host Houston (7-1, 4-0 AAC) in a 57-36 victory over South Florida (7-1, 4-0).
