• Host Allegheny scored 24 unanswered points to pull away from Oberlin (2-9), 47-14. The Yeomen dropped seven of their final eight games. Melvin Briggs had 133 yards and a touchdown for Oberlin.

• C.J. Conrad (Keystone) caught a 19-yard touchdown pass, but visiting No. 12 Kentucky fell to Tennessee, 24-7.

• Host Mount Union (10-0) clinched its 27th undefeated regular season with a 49-7 victory over Marietta. Andrew Roesch (Avon) had one solo tackle and a sack.

• Visiting Carnegie Mellon won the Academic Bowl, 29-23 in overtime, over Case Western Reserve (82). The Tartans intercepte­d the Spartans in the end zone to end the first series in OT, then scored the game-winning points on a Chris Haase 9-yard touchdown run.

• Michael Canganelli rushed for 270 yards on 35 carries and scored on runs of 4, 23 and 26 yards, and host John Carroll (9-1) won the Cuyahoga Gold Bowl over Baldwin Wallace (8-2), 45-35.

• Notre Dame College capped an 11-0 regular season with a 41-7 win at Seton Hill (Pa.). Freshman running back Jaleel McLaughlin rushed for 120 yards and three touchdowns, including a 45-yarder to pace the offense. • Jarret Doege threw for a touchdown, Andrew Clair ran for a score and visiting Bowling Green (2-8, 1-5 MAC) cashed in on an onside kick and a turnover to beat Central Michigan (1-10, 0-7), 24-13.

• Josh Jacobs ran for a touchdown and caught a scoring pass, and No. 1 Alabama (10-0, 7-0 SEC) had its second straight shutout, 24-0, over No. 18 Mississipp­i State (6-4, 2-4).
