All faiths and all nations are invited to pray the Rosary of the Unborn at St. Anthony of Padua Church, in the Eucharisti­c Chapel at 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, on March 2. Rosaries are prayed the first Saturday of every month, every half hour, on the hour, from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. — for an end to abortion within our nation and throughout the world. (The last rosary is said at 3:30, prayed in St. Anthony Church, not in the Eucharisti­c Chapel, just before 4 p.m. Mass.) Monthly dinner: St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, will be hosting a dinner at 5 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month. The menu will be different each month and prepared by the St. Anthony kitchen crew. The cost of each dinner will be only $10. Join us for our March Monthly Dinner on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. in our Social Hall. Pierogi on menu: St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, will be selling its famous pierogi on Ash Wednesday, March 6 and every Friday during Lent from March 8 to April 19, from 10 am to 6 p.m. in the Social Hall. People will be able to purchase cooked, prepared pierogi or buy them frozen. The menu will include potato & cheese or sauerkraut pierogi at $7/ dozen frozen or $8/dozen cooked; Cabbage & Noodles at $3 small or $6 large; Macaroni & Cheese at $3 small or $6 large; Pierogi To Go Dinner, which includes six pierogi, Cabbage & Noodles, and Macaroni & Cheese at $10; and the Frozen Speciality Pierogi Flavors: Apple, Apricot,

On the last Sunday of every month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Journey of Faith Church in North Ridgeville cooks and serves a fresh hot meal for those in need in the community. This is done in connection with Community Care in North Ridgeville and other churches in the area. The community meal provides more than a hot meal though. It provides a time to sit down and relax with others in the community while being cared for.
