Holy Week re-enactments: Fellowship Church of Wellington, 44777Route 18, will be re-enacting Holy Week in Jerusalem, starting with Palm Sunday and ending with the Crucifixion of Jesus. Rosary for the Unborn: All faiths and all nations are invited to pray the Rosary of the Unborn at St. Anthony of Padua Church, in the Eucharistic Chapel at 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, on March 2. Rosaries are prayed the first Saturday of every month, every half hour, on the hour, from 10a.m. until 3:30p.m. — for an end to abortion within our nation and throughout the world. (The last rosary is said at 3:30, prayed in St. Anthony Church, not in the Eucharistic Chapel, just before 4p.m. Mass.) Erie Ave., Lorain, will be selling its famous pierogi on Ash Wednesday, March 6and every Friday during Lent from March 8to April 19, from 10 am to 6p.m. in the Social Hall. People will be able to purchase cooked, prepared pierogi or buy them frozen. The menu will include potato & cheese or sauerkraut pierogi at $7/dozen frozen or $8/dozen cooked; Cabbage & Noodles at $3small or $6 large; Macaroni & Cheese at $3small or $6large; Pierogi To Go Dinner, which includes six pierogi, Cabbage & Noodles, and Macaroni & Cheese at $10; and the Frozen Speciality Pierogi Flavors: Apple, Apricot, Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese, BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, Cherry, Chicken Paprikash, Cranberry, Jalapeno Potato & Cheese, Mac ‘n Cheese, Prune, Sweet Cheese & Sweet Potato at 6/$4or 12/$8.
