High school reunions

• Admiral King High School Class of 1974 is hosting a 45th class reunion from Aug. 16-18. At 3 p.m., Aug. 16, a fish fry will take place at the Slovak Home, 2915 Broadway in Lorain. At 6 p.m., classmates will get together at Rockin’ on the River at Black River Lane. KICK, The INXS Experience and the band Faction Cleveland will perform. Classmates can take a tour of Lorain High School, 2600 Ashland Ave., beginning at noon Aug. 17.

At 6 p.m., a mixer and at 7 p.m., a dinner will take place at Beaver Yacht Club, 6000 W. Erie Ave. in Lorain, The cost is $33 a person. Casual attire is permitted.

• Marion L. Steele High School Class of 1969 reunion is Aug. 16-17. This will be the next to the last notice for this year’s reunion. The reunion is set for a meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m., Aug. 16, at Matus Winery, 15674 Gore Orphanage Road in Wakeman. The dinner is Aug. 17 at German’s Villa, 3330 Liberty Ave. in Vermilion. Social hour is 6 p.m. and dinner starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $40 for singles and $75 for couples.

Reservations must be in by July 30.

• Lorain High School Class of 1989 will hold its 30th reunion Aug. 23-24. There will be a Concert Mix and Mingle on Aug. 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Rockin’ on the River. Cost is $5 entrance fee payable at the gate. Classmates will gather at the large tented area with an LHS 89 banner.

On Aug. 24, classmates and guests are invited to an evening celebration from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Rosewood Place, 4493 Oberlin Ave., Lorain.
