• Andrew Roesch (Avon) had five tackles, including three for loss, in Mount Union’s 66-14rout of Rose-Hulman. • Visiting Kalamazoo kicked a field goal early in the fourth quarter, then held off late charge from Oberlin to beat the Yeomen, 3-0. Oberlin (0-1) recovered a fumble at Kalamazoo’s 36 with 2minutes, 13seconds remaining. But Kalamazoo intercepte­d a Chris Allen Jr. pass in the end zone with 26seconds left and ran out the clock.

• Senior Marvelle Ross caught five passes for 50 yards and rushed twice for 59yards as Notre Dame College (1-0) piled up 365 yards in total offense in a 33-10victory over visiting Concord

• A.J. Miller passed for 346 yards and two touchdowns, and visiting Baldwin Wallace opened with a 31-14victory over Alma.
