TeleTech building purchased by NOMS Healthcare

In response to current hyper-growth and anticipated continued rapid expansion, NOMS Healthcare (Northern Ohio Medical Specialists) purchased the massive, former TeleTech building at 1230 Park Ave. in Amherst in November, according to a news release.

In the initial phase, NOMS is renovating 10,000 of the building’s 46,200 square feet and will move about 30 team members into the space within the next 90 days, the release said.

The company expects that number to increase to around 100 by third quarter.

The facility primarily will house administrative services including IT, revenue cycle, operations, human resources and several

“hoteling” offices for other administrative departments primarily stationed elsewhere across northern Ohio, the release said.

NOMS plans to have an outsized conference room for both public and large internal meetings.

The location, immediately north of the Turnpike (Interstate 80), and just south of state Route 2, is roughly central for its facilities stippling the state from Toledo to the Mahoning Valley and into Western Pennsylvania, the release said.

Based on market demands and needs, in a second phase, outpatient medical office space will be added.

The independent-physician collaborative has nearly 300 providers practicing in over 30 specialties and plans to double or triple in size in the next twoto-three years, according to the release.

For the last two years, the company has experienced growth in Lorain County where the new property is located, the release said.
