Juanuan CarlosCar was born to Juan and Paulineaul­ine Detres on October 6, 1987 in Aguadilla, PuertoPuer Rico. As a child, Juan Carlos enjoyed basketball, football, musicusic, singing, laughing, and worshiping ors hi ping the Lord.

Juan CarlosCar met his wife, Luisa Gomez-Detres,Detres during a youth group Christmasi­stmas partypar at church in December of 2003. TheyThe fell in love and were marriedied beforebef God on October 15, 2006.

They wentent on to adopt a beautiful little dog named Cookie and livedliv joyfully in Clevelande­land and Lorain,Lor Ohio. In addition to being a dedicated and lovinglo son, grandson, brother,brother nephew, uncle, and friend, Juanuan CarlosCar also loved watching LeBron Jamesames playpla basketball, taking care of his nieces and nephews,nephe and spending time with his familyf any chance he could. Throughout his entire life,, he held an unwavering­unw faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Especially through his bear-likelik hugs.

Juan Carlos joins his babyy sister MariaMar Detres, greatgrand­father Marcelo Santiago,, ggrandfath­er Carlos Tirado, great uncles Jaimeaime Santiago and Eladio SantiagoSa­ntiago, who’ve already passed to Heaven. He is survived by his wife Luisa, his mother Pauline, his fatherathe­r JJuan, his step-mother Elizabeth, his youngeroun­ger brothers EmmanuelEm­man and Esteban, his sister in-law Marinelly, his grandmothe­rs Mildred Tirado and Guillermin­a Santiago and his favorite dogs Cookie and Winnie.
