Juan CarlosCar met his wife, Luisa Gomez-Detres,Detres during a youth group Christmasistmas partypar at church in December of 2003. TheyThe fell in love and were marriedied beforebef God on October 15, 2006.

They wentent on to adopt a beautiful little dog named Cookie and livedliv joyfully in Clevelandeland and Lorain,Lor Ohio. In addition to being a dedicated and lovinglo son, grandson, brother,brother nephew, uncle, and friend, Juanuan CarlosCar also loved watching LeBron Jamesames playpla basketball, taking care of his nieces and nephews,nephe and spending time with his familyf any chance he could. Throughout his entire life,, he held an unwaveringunw faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Especially through his bear-likelik hugs.
