Candidates must say they support election results
Donald Trump and Joe Biden both must express immediately their absolute support of the official, FINAL outcome of our presidential election with no ifs, ands or buts.
The one who does not should not be our president.
One part of our country’s wish to own slaves cost families to stab and shoot each other to death and almost a million, mostly poor whites on both sides, to die in violent ways for the few rich in spite of Abraham Lincoln’s mighty efforts to find compromises to keep the Union together.
Legally, Trump now has his ideal makeup of the Supreme Court and the incredible loyalty of the entire Senate.
And as Commander-in-Chief, he can in a second order the most powerful armed force in the history of humankind to wipe off the face of the earth any city with a nuclear bomb.
Many militiamen showed up at a Michigan Statehouse, fully armed, protesting, which they had every right to do.
Trump merely explained to the world why they were so upset with the governor for shutting down some businesses. Subsequently, almost 10 men have been charged with plans to kidnap Gov. Whitmer and loved ones to murder her signaling their dissatisfaction with her policies.
Trump had nothing to do with any of this. But there are enough militiamen who stand so fervently with Trump that they could throw our entire country into another civil war. Along with Biden, Trump must make it clear to us all that Dr. King’s message of nonviolence is the only way to protest, even that of an election.
