Officers responded at 10:25 p.m. to the 400 block of Bond Street where Wilson broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulted her, the report said.

The victim told police Wilson knocked at her door, but he had done it before, so she ignored him.

She heard glass break in the kitchen and Wilson approached her and started yelling, the report said.

Wilson hit the woman, and she struck him back, according to the report.

The confrontation ended with Wilson fleeing the house in an unknown direction.

Officers determined Wilson entered the house through the kitchen window.

They also found blood on the walls and in the bath tub, the report said.

The victim suffered scratches and bruises to her hands. Officers could not locate Wilson in the area and left the scene.

The victim called officers again at 11:39 p.m. to report Wilson breaking into her residence a second time, the report said.

Officers arrived but could not find Wilson. After waiting a couple of hours for Wilson to return, officers went to his residence at Knights Inn, 523 Griswold Road, and arrested him.

Wilson is in the Lorain County Jail pending an appearance in Elyria Municipal Court.
