North Coast Building Industry Association Installs 2021 Leadership

The North Coast Building Industry Association (NCBIA) installed its newly elected 2021 president, officers, and directors this week.

Sara Majzun-Garwood, BCT Alarm Services, Inc. was installed as 2021 President. Other 2021 officers are:

Vice President – Tim King, K. Hovnanian

Homes; Associate Vice President – John Toth, Floor Coverings International; Treasurer – Melanie Stock, First Federal Savings of Lorain; Secretary – Mike Meszes, DRC Construction; and Immediate Past President & Life Director – Jeremy Vorndran, 84 Lumber

The North Coast BIA is pleased to have Sara Majzun-Garwood leading the association in 2021. Sara states, “I am so honored to be taking on the role of President of the North Coast Building Industry Association this year! As a thirdgeneration member, I grew up in this industry and I truly feel it is made up of the best people. Following in the steps of my father who was president in 2017 & 1998 and my grandfather in 1981 I cannot wait to see what 2021 has in store for us! We have a great leadership team in place, and I have surrounded myself with people I truly feel will help the association achieve great things!” This continues to be a time of growth for our industry and I’m sure that under her direction, and with the support of our Board of Directors, our Association will further its mission of serving the community and our members in Erie, Huron and Lorain Counties.”
