On the lanes: Igo had games of 211 and 196 in Vermilion’s SBC match against Tiffin Columbian on Jan. 14. He has a 186 average this season.
Off the lanes: In his spare time, “Iggy” enjoys posting “Call of Duty” and “Madden” content on his YouTube channel. His favorite sports memory was when his mom gave him $50for hitting his first home run. He’s a diehard Browns fan and is a fan of rap music.
Garrett Szuch COLUMBIA»WRESTLING SOPHOMORE»170 POUNDS
On the mat: Went 5-0 with three pins last week over the Raiders’ LC8double dual and the Howland Invitational. Szuch is 18-5 on the year.
Off the mat: Szuch enjoys any type of wood working or mechanical activities. His favorite food is pizza and his favorite movies are any of the Rocky movies.

On the court: Tallied 20 points and eight rebounds in the Eagles’ win over Amherst and finished with 10points and 6 rebounds in Avon’s loss to Olmsted Falls. Off the court: Liber’s favorite sports memory is winning a national championship with her AAU team in Atlanta. Her favorite subject in school is math and her favorite movie is “Grown Ups.”

On the ice: Tallied a shutout against Olmsted Falls in the Southwestern Conference semifinals before stopping 20shots against Amherst in the SWC final.
Off the ice: “Benny’s” favorite sports memory is seeing the Detroit Red Wings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins at Joe Louis Arena in 2014. His favorite food is Raising Cane’s and his favorite movie is “Miracle.”

In the pool: Broke two of Avon’s school records in the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay at the Viking Invitational and set a personal best in the 100freestyle. Out of the pool: “Mal” has been swimming competitively since she was 8as a part of CLE Swimming Club. She enjoys running, listening to music and working on her service project to help underprivileged children learn how to swim.
NORTH RIDGEVILLE»GIRLS BASKETBALL FRESHMAN»GUARD
On the court: Kingery had 26-point games against Amherst and Brunswick, respectively, last week. She finished with six 3-pointers in each game. She’s averaging 16.6 points per game on the season. Off the court: Kingery’s favorite athletes are Sue Bird and Kyrie Irving and her favorite sports team is the Cavaliers. Her favorite subject in school is world history and her favorite food is tacos.

On the court: After scoring 25 points against Brookside on Jan. 12, the senior finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds in the Clippers’ win over Brookside on Jan. 15.
Off the court: Clark enjoys basketball and football equally. His favorite TV Show is “All American” and he enjoys listening to music.

On the court: Price had a stellar week, scoring 32against Rocky River on Jan. 5, 21against Parma on Jan. 8, 20against Elyria on Jan. 9and 25against Valley Forge on Jan. 12. He’s averaging 20 points per game and 4.5assists per game.
Off the court: “Ash” tries to work on his game every day and stays busy with basketball. When he’s not playing he enjoys playing Xbox and watching Netflix.
