Joanne L. Grilli

Joanne Lee Grilli (nee: Gawlik) 74, of Elyria passed away Sunday February 14, 2021 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born October 30, 1946 in Elyria where she was a lifelong resident. Joanne was a 1964 Elyria High School graduate; she had worked and retired from General Electric. She treasured spending time with family and enjoyed stained glass work, and crocheting.

Survivors include her children; Bob King (Julie), Lisa L. Gagne, Richard B. Grilli, Tina M. Reasons (Tony). Additional survivors include grandchildren; Kahla (Vince), Illysa, Andrew, Daniel, Shane, Brittney, Jessica, great grandchildren; Gabrihela, Ayvion, Sophia, two brothers; John Gawlik (Joyce), Michael Gawlik, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband of forty years; Louis Joseph Grill Jr., her parents; Edward and Laverne (nee: Schmidt) Gawlik, sisters; Mary Louy Strehle, Patricia Foster, Gerry Kawell, Joyce Orzech, Karen Springer, two brothers; Edward and Eugene “Skip” Gawlik.

A Celebration of Joanne’s life will be 4:00 PM Saturday February 20, 2021 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where the family will receive friends from 1-4 PM Saturday prior to services.
