Roger D. Prihoda, 66, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood following a brief illness.

Mr. Prihoda was born in Goshen, IN on June 24, 1954, the son of the late Archie F. and Linda J. (nee Heckleman) Prihoda.

He was a graduate of Goshen High School, class of 1972 and the Ozark Bible Institute. He was a member of Broadway Assembly Church in Lorain. He served as a bus driver, taught Sunday School, Board Member, youth pastor and Camp Counselor.Mr. Prihoda was a retired truck driver for Praxair for 13 years, retiring in 2016, and also worked at Camaco Auto Parts as a truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.

Roger is survived by his wife of 39 years Teresa A. (nee Kincer) Prihoda, sons Eric N. (Courtney) Prihoda of Amherst, Nicholas D. (Amanda) Prihoda, of Elyria, grandchild­ren: Ainsleigh Prihoda, Averi Prihoda, Anderson Prihoda, Asher Prihoda, Cole Prihoda, Bryson Prihoda, Allianna Prihoda, Myles Prihoda, sister, Beverly Prihoda of Goshen, IN, brothers Raymond (Joyce) Prihoda of Neosho, MO, Mark Prihoda of Goshen, IN and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Friday, February 19, 2021 at Broadway Assembly Church, 5495 Broadway Ave, Lorain between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Matt Jones officiatin­g.

Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, OH.Any memorial contributi­ons may be made to the Broadway Assembly Church, 5495 Broadway Ave, Lorain, Ohio 44052.The family was assisted with arrangemen­ts by the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, 44052.
