Bennie R. Bartlebaugh

Bennie R. Bartlebaugh, age 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born on October 25, 1930 in Arcadia, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1962, moving from Cleveland. Bennie worked as a tow motor operator with Trans Cleveland for 25 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 19.

In his free time, he enjoyed crafts, woodworking, and the summer months would find him tending to his garden.

Bennie is survived by his daughters Beatrice Nejadford of Avon, Agnes “Angee” Mayhew of Amherst and Debbie Blackburn of Greenwich, OH; sons Randy Bartlebaugh of Akron and Ben Bartlebaugh of Flat Rock, NC; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Gail Pennington of Missouri, Donna Mayes of Streetsboro, Sue Insley and Geralda Mayberry, both of Illinois; brother Brian (Karen) Bartlebaugh of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie (nee Mahaffey) Bartlebaugh; daughters Pamela Gage and Sandy Jarrell; parents Ben and Geraldine (nee Pennington) Bartlebaugh; sisters Florence Thompson, June Johnson and Twila Steffes.

Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral Home. Rev.
