Margaret J. Ragnoni

Margaret J. Ragnoni (nee Caris), formerly of Elyria Township and Oberlin, passed away at the age of 91 at Life Care Center of Elyria on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

Born in Galion, Ohio on February 27, 1930, she lived in the Lorain/Elyria area most of her life. Prior to marriage, she worked as a seamstress in Lorain. Margaret enjoyed reading, baking and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, feeding the birds and she loved her pets.

Margaret is survived by her children, John Ragnoni of Sheffield Lake, Mike (Sue) Ragnoni of Vermilion, Christine Arndt of Westlake, Angeline Ragnoni of Westlake, and Vince (Carrie) Ragnoni of Vermilion; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Ragnoni; grandson, Gerald Ragnoni; parents, Francis and Elizabeth Caris (nee Fisher); sisters, LaDonna Miller and Marlene Jagger; and brother, Ronny Caris.

The family will receive family and at Reidyfriends Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 3:00 PM until the time of funeral services at 7:00 PM, Pastor Chuck Behrens, officiating. Private burial services will be held at a later date at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Twp, OH.
