Patricia Joanne “Foxy’ Johnson
Patricia Joanne “Foxy” Johnson (nee Russell) Gained her angel wings on September 22, 2020 after a long battle with heart and health issues. She was born August 12, 1941 to parents William and Alice Russell (nee Martin) in Cleveland, OH. Patti was the 2nd of 9 children, grew up in Vermilion, OH, and was a 1958 graduate of Vermilion High School. She worked at Fisher Body General Motors, Sprenger Autumn Aegis (in rehab), and worked in home health care until her medical retirement. Patti had a zest for living life to its fullest. As the Frank Sanatra song says, she truly did it “My Way”. Her hobbies include riding her motorcycles and horse Poco, and going camping. She was always ready to help anyone, at any time, with anything. She is deeply loved and missed dearly.
Patti is survived by her loving children Deborah Standen of Lorain, and Richard (Julie) Johnson of Amherst; cherished grandchildren Marissa, Mariah, Liam, Aiden, and Landon; great-grandchildren Anaias, Jadiel, and Jadian; sisters Judith and Sharon; brothers Timothy, Daniel, and James Russell; and best friend Marcia “Connie” Davies.
She is preceded in death by her father William Russell; mother Alice Haettich (nee Martin); sisters Maureen Kay Russell and Barbara McGuirk; nephews Thomas Perkins and Brian Kumpf, and niece Traci Jo Kumpf.
A celebration of life will be held at Mill Hollow-Becan Woods Reservation in Vermilion, Ohio on August 14th, 2021 at pavilion # 4 from 5:30-8 PM.
