Kenneth Allen Croll, 76, of Grafton, passed peacefully, with his loving family by his side, on Sunday, August, 22, 2021, in the UPMC Presbyteri­an, in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born on July 30, 1945, in Lorain, OH, a son of the late Albert “Bud” Croll and Ruth Brewster Lockwood. On October 18, 1969, he was united in marriage to Linda (Brown) Croll, to the love of his life, who survives. Kenneth is a 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Ely Lodge #424 in Vermilion, Ohio, Grafton Elks #308 for 42 years and the Fairmont Elks Lodge #294 for three years. He was also a member of American Legion Post #397 Vermilion, OH for 26 years. He drove truck for Teamsters Local 89 for 27 years. Kenneth was an avid race fan including “stock cars” and NASCAR. He enjoyed going to Louisville, Ky during the first week of August for the National Street Hot Rods Convention. He was a member of the Blueville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed getting together with his friends from Grafton and Fairmont. When having a conversati­on with his grandkids, his favorite thing to say was “Oh, Baloney!”. His number one priority was his wife and they enjoyed traveling all over the country together.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is also survived by one daughter, Debra Jones and fiancée, Art, of Fairmont; one son, Lawrence “Larry” Croll and wife Trina, Washington State; five grandchild­ren, Chris, Brandin (Jenna) Kyle (Amanda) Cory (Brittannie) and Bryan; nine great grandchild­ren, Nicole, Dylan, Taylor, Aydan, Karson, Adele, Declan, Michael and Emmalynne; by nieces, nephews and cousins; his favorite Aunt Faris Brewster Bailey, Amherst, Ohio and his family and friends in Ohio.

Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 3:00PM7:00PM and on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 the hour of the funeral with Pastor Corey Gero officiatin­g.

Proudly serving his country, Kenneth had earned the right to be buried in the West Virginia National Cemetery. However, he had requested to give his grave to another deserving veteran as his wishes will be honored to reside beside family at the Bluemont Cemetery, where full Military rites will be accorded by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the United States Air Force.
