Billy Ray Keisman, age 91, of Elyria, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 4, 2021, while under the care of Crossroads Hospice at Elmcroft assisted living community.

He was born on February 11, 1930 in Huntington, Arkansas. During High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his country. While serving 4 years in the Air Force, he was able to earn his GED before his honorable discharge. After his discharge, he went to work in the coal mines in Virginia for 13 years. He finally moved to Ohio in 1964 where he worked and retired from Ford Motor Co., in Lorain.

Billy Ray was a devoted Elder and member of the Church of the North Coast. He was a man of great faith who truly enjoyed talking about the Lord to everyone and anyone. His strength through life was due to his deep rooted faith and he was ready to be received by the Lord when his time came.

Billy Ray is survived by his 5 children, Tony, Tim (Faye), Ken (Patti), Cindy (Kenneth) Chambers, and Denver (Kim), his 16 grandchild­ren, Stewart, Shawn, Carla, Stephanie, Kevin, Holly, Jake, Vincent, Daniel, Amanda, Trevor, Spencer, Matt, Julie, Amanda, and Josh, his 22 great grandchild­ren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Fay (nee Deel) Keisman and his parents, Raymond & Myrtle (nee Wimberley) Keisman.
