Lorain: James C. Enderle, 75, of Lorain, died Saturday December 25, 2021 at his home after a long illness.

He was born July 23, 1946 in Bellevue and had resided in the Lorain area most of his life.

Jim graduated from Bellevue High School in 1964 and then served with the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He worked at the Lorain Ford Assembly plant for 25 years and then worked at Lithonia Downlighti­ng in Vermilion from 1999 until their closure. He was currently employed by First Student as a bus driver and monitor where he had worked for 12 years.

Jim was a life member of AMVETS #47, American Legion #30 and VFW Post #451, all of Lorain. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Jim was known as “Snake” to many of his friends.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years Denise Enderle (nee Michalski), children: Jamie Enderle of Vermilion, Becky Maddix (Roger) of Portsmouth, Ohio and Christian

White of Lorain; grandchild­ren: Jasmine Young, Jenna White, Stella Baxter and Joshua Uebbing and brothers: Ralph “Terry” Enderle (Denise) of California, Jack Enderle of California and Bob Enderle (Cindy) of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his first wife Dreama Enderle (nee Johnson) in 2004, parents Ralph C & Esther M Enderle (nee Bruggerman), sister Margaret Hoffman and brother Dennis Enderle.

The family will receive friends Thursday December 30, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada

Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. AMVETS Post #32 of Elyria will conduct military honors at 7:45 pm in the funeral chapel as a conclusion to the wake.
