Daniel Alan Fulton, 54, passed away unexpected­ly on January 29, 2022 at St John’s Medical Center in Westlake following a sudden illness.

Dan was born in Lorain, Ohio on August 30, 1967 to Earl and Beverly Fulton. He grew up in Amherst where he was active in Band and became a standout in the Marching Band in High School. He traveled with the Comet Marching band to march in the The Macy’s and Gimble’s Thanksgivi­ng Day parades. During High School he also pursued his hobby of cycling, traveling throughout Northern Ohio. After graduating from Amherst Marion L Stelle High school, he entered the

US Navy and served four years stationed in Norfolk, Va as a flight mechanic.

Dan married and settled in Virginia and spent the next 18 years in retail sales and eventually moved on to Automobile Sales where he was often a top salesman at his dealership. He pursued his love of boating and celebrated the birth of two sons. Dan returned to Ohio in 2013, settling in Bay Village, where he remained until his death.

Dan is survived by his sons, Daniel Tanner (Katelyn) Fulton and Nathan Tyler Fulton of Elyria, his mother Beverly Lorens of Amherst, Stepmother Christine Fulton of Vermilion, Nephew Ryan Costello of Lorain, his sister Kim (Brian) Aliff of Lorain, nieces and nephews and the mother of his children, Mary-Shannon Fulton of Elyria. He was preceeded in death by his Father Earl Fulton, Stepfather Milton Lorens and Grandmothe­r Julia Kish.

Burial services will be private. The family recommends any memorial contributi­ons be sent to Friendship Animal League as a reflection of Dan’s love for dogs.
