Cleveland man faces theft charge

Willoughby police arrested a Cleveland man on July 23 in connection with an Oct. 29, 2015, incident, according to Willoughby Municipal Court records.

Rashawn G. Austin, 26, of 9208 Pierpont Ave., faces a fifth-degree felony count of receiving stolen property, records there show.

Austin is being held on a $5,000/10 percent cash or surety bond pending a preliminary hearing July 28, his court paperwork states.

If convicted, he could receive up to a year behind bars.
