Jefferson man faces complicity charge
A Jefferson man accused of aiding a burglar appeared March 20 in Painesville Municipal Court, court records show.
Robert G. Scott, a 24-year-old resident of 941 SR 307 W., is charged with second-degree felony complicity and is being held on a $5,000/10 percent cash/surety bond pending a March 27 preliminary hearing, his file shows.
If convicted, Scott could get up to eight years behind bars.
NY man accused of burglary in Painesville
A 25-year-old Limestone, NY man faced a judge in Painesville Municipal Court March 20 on a felony burglary charge, according to court records.
David C. Kornacki was arraigned on first-degree felony burglary in connection with a March 18 incident, his records confirm.
He’s being held on a $500,000/10 percent cash/surety bond pending a March 27 preliminary hearing, according to court records.
If convicted, Kornacki
could receive up to 11 years confinement.
Penn men face burglary charges
A pair of Pennsylvania men were arraigned March 20 in Painesville Municipal Court on numerous charges related to a March 18 burglary, court records show.
25-year-old Brandan M. Willoughby and 22-yearold Cullen S. McLeod, both of Bradford, Pa., each are charged with first-degree felony aggravated burglary, court files confirm.
Willoughby also is charged with a fourthdegree felony of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony of cocaine possession and a first-degree misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a child, his court records show.
Both defendants are being held on a $500,000/10 percent cash/surety bond pending their March 27 preliminary hearings.
If convicted on their respective felony charges alone, McLeod faces up to 11 years and Willoughby 13 1/2 years behind bars.
