Christ Child Society holding luncheons

The Christ Child Society of Geauga County will host the 27th Annual Red Wagon Spring Luncheon, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 22, at St. Noel Party Center, 35200 Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills.

Jenn Harcher, meteorologist from Channel 8 News, will join the event as the guest emcee. The Chinese auction and luncheon raffles support the many programs and activities of the society in its mission to help and serve children at risk in Geauga County for more than 30 years, according to a news release. The luncheon will once again feature the signature gift baskets, along with plants and flowers that officially welcome spring.

Then, on April 26, the Lake County chapter will hold its 33rd annual Red Wagon Luncheon at the American Croatian Hall, 34900 Lake Shore Blvd. in Eastlake.

This year will include baskets, the Premier and Split raffles and, new this year, the Square will be available to charge purchases. Also new this year, will be some silent auction items.

The meal will be served family style and the guest speaker is Channel 8 news anchor Todd Meany.

There will be complimentary valet parking and doors will open at 10:30 a.m.

Reservation deadline is April 12.
