Mentor firm appoints new vice president
Cleveland Construction Inc., which is based in Mentor, has announced the creation of a new executive position by naming Jason Ziegler as vice president of client development and preconstruction.
Ziegler previously served as director of client development — a position that was similarly created for him in 2013 after a prior promotion from project estimator to estimating manager.
He will continue to oversee preconstruction services — such as budget development, value engineering, estimating, constructability analysis and design-assist — and client development in the Cleveland, Fort Lauderdale and Charlotte markets.
Although Ziegler’s dayto-day role at the firm won’t change, the new executive position is significant for several reasons.
“Our company has evolved over the past several years, and this new position acknowledges the significance of preconstruction and its impact on overall sales,” Ziegler said. “Being promoted from director to vice president also recognizes the role I’ve played as a catalyst in the company’s transformation to a more diverse construction manager.”
Cleveland Construction Inc. is a family-owned commercial contractor specializing in general contracting, construction management and designbuild services.
