GGP program to focus on Junction Auto

The success story of Junction Auto Sales will be the focus of Geauga Growth Partnershi­p’s Entreprene­ur Success Breakfast on April 28.

Ed and Cliff Babcock, owners of Junction Auto Sales, will be the featured speakers at the event, slated for 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Junction Auto dealership, 12423 Mayfield Road in Chardon.

The Babcocks will discuss the succession from one generation to the next in this five-generation family business, and how they adapted their strategies over the years.

Chardon business earns elite award

FirstLight Home Care of Chardon/Northeast Cleveland, a provider of nonmedical home care in Northeast Ohio, has been recognized as one of the country’s top home care providers by the 2017 Best of Home Care Awards.

The awards are presented annually by Home Care Pulse, a third-party research and quality assurance home care satisfacti­on measuremen­t firm, a news release states. Based solely on client feedback, the Best in Home Care Awards honor home care providers that exemplify excellence in home care, according to the release.

FirstLight Home Care of Chardon/Northeast Cleveland earned a Provider of Choice Award, which recognizes home care companies with performanc­e that qualifies them as a Home Care Pulse Certified — Trusted Partner for at least six consecutiv­e months, and that rank in the top 50th percentile in two or more client satisfacti­on categories.

FirstLight Home Care of Chardon/Northeast Cleveland is based in Chardon and owned by local entreprene­ur Annette Smith. The agency provides services to clients in Lake, Geauga and Cuyahoga counties.
