Garden club offers memorial trees

Madison Garden Club’s memorial tree program is once again underway.

The program is a part of the Tomorrow’s Trees Today committee, and is a way for participants to celebrate the memory and life of a loved one or a beloved pet.

The club members will plant trees that can be purchased through the program.

This year’s tree supplier is Gilson’s Nursery, located in Perry.

The club will offer services in supervising purchases of an 8-foot tree, delivery to the site and planting/mulching.

The memorial tree can be planted at select community sites or a private location of their choice.

Applications are available at many Madison businesses and community gathering places.
