Lupus support group to meet May 1

The Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Ohio Chapter, will host its monthly lupus support group from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on May 1 at the Willoughby Library, 30 Public Square.

The support group is an open, small-group environment that encourages discussion among lupus patients and their families, according to a news release. It is a place where persons with lupus can share their experiences and ask questions. Most discussions focus on the “how-to’s” of living with a chronic illness. Individual differences and confidentiality are respected.
