Man faces felony impaired-driving charge
A Kirtland man previously convicted of at least one felony drunken driving offense faced a judge in Mentor Municipal Court May 4 on another charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, court records show.
57-year-old Peter D. Bramley, whose address is listed in court documents as 8680 Chardon Road, is charged with third-degree felony DUI along with numerous misdemeanor drug- and driving-related offenses.
He’s being held on a $50,000/10 percent cash or surety bond with the condition that he wear a Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor as a bond condition, his arraignment paperwork confirms. Bramley’s pretrial/preliminary hearing is scheduled May 11.
If convicted of the felony
alone, he faces up to three years in prison.
Man faces weapons charge in Mentor
A Madison Township man accused of being in violation of the state’s firearms regulations in Mentor May 4 faced a judge there that day on a felony count, Mentor Municipal Court records show.
Steven A. Mussing, 26, of 5043 Baker Road, is charged with fourthdegree felony improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor drivingunder-suspension count. He is being held on a $20,000/10 percent cash or surety bond pending a May 11 pretrial/preliminary hearing.
If convicted of the firearms charge, Mussig could get up to 18 months behind bars.
