Dennis H. Whitticar

Dennis H. Whitticar, age 74 of loughby Hills, passed away on May 17, 2017 at Hospice House in Cleveland to his “big side job in the sky.” He was born on November 13, 1942 in Cleveland. Denny loved and studied the Holy Mother Church for over 35 years. He was a Eucharistic Minister for 30 years. He enjoyed taking Holy Communion to the sick and cancer patients. Denny loved and played football at John shall HS, the University of Dayton and Auburn University. He earned a ness degree at Cornell University. Denny was a construction superintendent with many companies including FABCO, ney Construction and DAS. He loved to build multimillion lar projects out of the ground down to small projects with his sons, daughter and adopted sons and daughters. Denny was always inspired by our Lord Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother. He always tried to be a “leader” at all times.

Denny is survived by his beloved wife, Sheri (nee ert); children, Dennis (Lisa), Shelly, David (Lindsey); children, Mike, Cody, Ashley, Amy, Maddi, Ella, and Grayson (Bubba); great grandchildren, Hadley, and Braydon; dear nephews and beloved dog, Dusty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lois (nee Sherman) Whitticar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Robert & William Parish, 367 E. 260th St. in Euclid. Interment at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon at a later date. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby.
