Local residents earn Ashland degrees

The following students completed their Ashland University degree requirements and graduated during commencement ceremonies on May 6.

• Mary McDermott of Cleveland Heights, a Doctor of Education degree. McDermott is majoring in Leadership Studies.

• Brian Pestotnik of Highland Heights, a Master of Business Administration degree. Pestotnik is majoring in Executive Management.

• Kevin Pratt of Mantua, a Master of Business Administration degree. Pratt is majoring in Executive Management.

• Corbon Angermeier of Kirtland, a Bachelor of Arts degree. Angermeier is majoring in Health & Risk Communication. Angermeier is a 2013 graduate of Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. He is the son of Kenneth and Joann Angermeier of Kirtland.

• Samantha Birchall of Mentor, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Birchall is majoring in Nursing. Birchall is a 2013 graduate of Mentor High School. She is the daughter of Charles and Lisa Birchall of Mentor.

• Abigale Brady of Ashtabula, a Bachelor of Arts degree. Brady is majoring in Music and Psychology. Brady is a 2013 graduate of Geneva Secondary School. She is the daughter of Joseph Brady and Kate Wilcox.

• Molly Brys of Concord Township, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Brys is majoring in Nursing. Brys is a 2013 graduate of Riverside High School. She is the daughter of Douglas and Connie Brys of Concord Township.

• Joshua Hauman of Aurora, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Hauman is majoring in Economics. Hauman is a 2013 graduate of Aurora High School. He is the son of Michael and Barbra Hauman of Aurora.

• Emily Jereb of Concord Township, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Jereb is majoring in Finance. Jereb is a 2013 graduate of Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. She is the daughter of Thomas and Marianne Jereb of Concord Township.

• Mattie McCandless of Highland Heights, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. McCandless is majoring in Nursing. McCandless is a 2013 graduate of Cornerstone Christian Academy. She is the daughter of Michael and Trina McCandless of Highland Heights.

• Valerie Mignogna of Euclid, a Bachelor of Science degree. Mignogna is majoring in Dietetics. Mignogna is a 2013 graduate of Euclid Senior High School. She is the daughter of Jerry and Cynthia Mignogna of Euclid.

• Kasey Petrecca of Willowick, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Petrecca is majoring in Supply Chain Management. Petrecca is a 2013 graduate of Eastlake North High School. She is the daughter of John and Tammy Petrecca of Willowick. Petrecca is graduating with Cum Laude honors.

• Elizabeth Polasky of Aurora, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Polasky is majoring in Nursing. Polasky is a 2013 graduate of Aurora High School. She is the daughter of Thomas and Heather Polasky of Aurora. Polasky is graduating with Cum Laude and Gamma Kappa Alpha honors.

She is the daughter of John and Jeanne Siefert of Highland Heights. Siefert is graduating with Magna Cum Laude and Gamma Kappa Alpha honors.
