Healing service: Christ Lutheran Church, 5555 SOM Center Road, Willoughby, will host a healing service that will be open to the community at 4 p.m., June 24. Everyone in need of God’s healing is welcome. Those who wish to may step forward for an individual blessing, laying on of hands, and anointing with oil. This is not offered as a substitute for scientific/medical treatments and interventi­ons, which we believe are also God’s good gifts to us. Yoga offered: Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St., Chardon, will offer yoga sessions on Wednesdays from 10 to 11:15 a.m. The sessions will include a gentle, progressiv­e style of yoga that is suitable for all ages and body types. On the floor, or on a chair, this class includes Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath practices), and relaxation. No experience is needed. Conducted by master teacher and instructor Susan Gundersen, this is a donation class (suggested donation $10) with proceeds going toward our Guatemala mission. Outdoor services: First United Methodist Church offers worship each Sunday, beginning at 9:30 a.m., now through Sept. 3 at the Drive-In Outdoor Service, a very casual interdenom­inational worship service. This service has been sponsored by the FUMC for over 50 years. The service reaches out to tourists, campers and all persons interested in worshiping our Lord in Nature’s Environmen­t. Come as you are and enjoy the service from the car or bring a chair and sit outside. The Drive-In Outdoor Service continues to be at Wildwood Acres Campground­s at the intersecti­on of state Route 7 and Marvin Road, two miles south of Andover. Signs are posted. Musical services will be June 11, by the Golden State Singers; July 2 by Dan Shall and July 9, by Sound Witness. Many return each summer to worship together while vacationin­g in the Pymatuning Lake Area.
