Rookie defensive end Myles Garrett, injured a day earlier, did not practice on June 15 nor was he on the field observing as the Browns wrapped up a three-day minicamp in Berea.

A team spokesman said Garrett is being evaluated for a left foot injury suffered in a pass rushing drill on June 14. Garrett went to the ground and grabbed his left foot on what would have been a sack of quarterback Brock Osweiler. Coach Hue Jackson and a trainer helped Garrett stand.

Garrett limped to the sideline, removed his shoe and rubbed the bottom of his left foot before being examined by the medical staff.

Garrett remained on the sideline, most of the time in a kneeling position, until lightning forced Jackson to order practice be concluded in the fieldhouse. Garrett followed the team into the fieldhouse and then limped to the locker room when practice ended.

Garrett was the first overall pick of the 2017 draft. His pro career has not started well. A foot injury kept him sidelined most of organized team activities (OTAs) leading up to the minicamp. Garrett was on the sideline observing while unable to practice in OTAs.
