Marco’s Pizza is seeking community support to help an 11-year-old Painesville girl who was severely injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash.

Cheyanne Mills, who is the daughter Tammy Mills, was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children Hospital on July 1 when the ATV she was riding on crashed.

According to Marco’s Facebook post, Cheyanne underwent surgery and is recovering from a brain injury.

On July 18, Marco’s Pizza in Willoughby at 36200 Euclid Ave. and Mentor-on-theLake at 5981 Andrews Road will donate 20 percent of all sales to the Mills family.

Purchases can be made online at marcos.com, or by calling 440-209-7000 for the Mentor-on- the-Lake location or 440-975-8888 for the Willoughby store. There also will be a donation jar available at both locations.

“Tammy, is a single mother of two girls, Cheyanne and Stephanie, and works part time for the Riverside Local Schools as a substitute aide at recess and in the lunch rooms,” the post also states. “Expenses are piling up as she helps to care for Cheyanne at the hospital, include the medical bills, along with transportation, meals, parking, and so many others. We would especially ask friends, neighbors, and co-workers of Tammy, in Painesville and Painesville Township to help us in this effort.”

One of Tammy and Cheyanne’s cousins, Sherri Mills, said this fundraiser is critical in their time of need.

“I think it is awesome,” said Sherri, who is also the general manager at the Mentoron-the-Lake location. “We do a lot of fundraisers here and I’m glad we’re able to help others.”
