Watercolorist offers demo in Mayfield

Florence Smith, an award-winning watercolorist, will be giving a free watercolor demonstration at the new Mayfield Village Community Center, 6622 Wilson Mills Road in Mayfield Village, at 10 a.m. Aug. 29.

Perry library hosts yoga night

Perry Public Library, 3753 Main St., will host yoga at 7 p.m. Aug. 30.

This class is adapted for all levels. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or beach towel.

United Way plans campaign kickoff

The Lake County United Way Celebration of Champions 2017 Campaign Kickoff will be 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Mentor Civic Center Park Amphitheater.

Attendees can enjoy a free community celebration with a picnic lunch. For personal comfort, bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Enjoy a free picnic lunch, music and more, plus hear from Campaign Chair Mark Sutherland of the Lubrizol Corp.
