• Visiting Malone topped Lake Erie (1-6, 1-3 GMAC), 24-13. Antwan Harris scored a touchdown, and Mike Muzic (Mentor) kicked two field goals for the Storm. Malone QB Zane Bunnell (North) threw for 75 yards and a touchdown. • Visiting John Carroll (4-3, 4-2 OAC) jumped to a 21-0 lead on the way to a 48-21 thrashing of Capital. Anthony Moeglin threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns, and Ro Golphin (Gilmour) rushed for 109 yards and two scores for the Blue Streaks. • Notre Dame College (6-2, 6-2 MEC) fell to visiting West Virigina Wesleyan, 20-13. Falcons QB Malik Grove rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown. • D’Angelo Fulford threw five touchdown passes in the first half as Mount Union (7-0, 6-0 OAC) smashed Wilmington, 66-7. Fulford finished with 268 yards passing. Josh Petruccell­i (Perry) rushed for 82 yards for the Purple Raiders. • Case Western Reserve (7-0, 6-0 PAC) had no problem with host Geneva, 45-7. Rob Cuda passed a touchdown and ran for two for the Spartans. • Visiting Baldwin Wallace (43, 3-3 OAC) fell to Otterbein, 37-29. • Marcus Weymiller ran for 132 yards with two touchdowns on 29 carries and host Northern Iowa (4-3, 3-1 MVC) held off Youngstown State (3-4, 1-3), 19-14. • Logan Woodside tossed five touchdown passes and host Toledo (6-1, 3-0 MAC) ran away from Akron (4-4, 3-1), 48-21. Woodside finished 17 of 24 for 304 yards to lead the Rockets. • Marcus Childers threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns and added 73 yards rushing and Northern Illinois (5-2, 3-0 MAC) beat Bowling Green (1-7, 1-3), 48-17. Tommy Mister had 17 carries for 115 yards and a score, and Chad Beebe had six catches for 124 yards and a touchdown for Northern Illinois. • Nathan Rourke threw two touchdown passes to Mason Morgan in a 28-point third quarter and host Ohio (6-2, 3-1 MAC) raced to a 48-3 victory over Kent State (2-6, 1-3). Kent State’s Dustin Crum was 1 of 3 for 3 yards with an intercepti­on. • Kenny Young ran 18 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns, and host Miami of Ohio (3-5, 2-2 MAC) pulled away in the third quarter to beat Buffalo (3-5, 1-3) ,24-14. Young’s second touchdown was a 35-yarder immediatel­y following a Buffalo fumble early in third quarter, and Alonzo Smith punched in a 1-yard run late in the period to give the RedHawks a 24-7 lead.
