Euclid preps for playoffs

The lowdown

Euclid got ready for the Division I playoffs Oct. 27 as it defeated Shaker Heights, 26-12.

Three plays into the game, running back Ronald Lee started the scoring with a touchdown run from 43 yards out.

On Euclid’s second possession, quarterbac­k Aubrey Shabazz scored on a 4-yard run to make it 13-6.

Shaker responded fast as Jamir Dismukes found Micah Hills for a 37-yard touchdown.

Just before the first half ended, Lee caught a 15yard screen pass and ran in the end zone for a touchdown.

Euclid finished the scoring as Shabazz threw a 61yard touchdown to Jovan Owens.

EUCLID » Lee carried 19 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns. He came up short breaking Robert Smith’s single-season record of 2,042 yards rushing. SHAKER HEIGHTS » Dismukes was 8-for-21 passing for 122 yards and 99 yards rushing.
