Man ar­raigned on drug traf­fick­ing count

A 24-year-old Wick­liffe man ar­rested Oct. 27 by Men­tor po­lice faced a judge in Men­tor Mu­nic­i­pal Court on drug and other charges, court records show.

Den­zell J. Har­ris, of 30277 Ridgeview Drive, faces counts of fourthde­gree felony mar­i­juana traf­fick­ing, fifth-de­gree felony pos­sess­ing crim­i­nal tools, mis­de­meanor mar­i­juana pos­ses­sion, mis­de­meanor pos­sess­ing mar­i­juana para­pher­na­lia and mis­de­meanor traf­fic of­fenses, in­clud­ing speed­ing and no seat belt.

If con­victed of the two felony charges alone, Har­ris could re­ceive up to 2 1/2 years’ con­fine­ment.

He’s be­ing held on a $50,000/10 per­cent cash or surety bond and has a pre­trial/pre­lim­i­nary hear­ing sched­uled Nov. 2, his ar­raign­ment pa­per­work con­firms.
