Man arraigned on drug traffickin­g count

A 24-year-old Wickliffe man arrested Oct. 27 by Mentor police faced a judge in Mentor Municipal Court on drug and other charges, court records show.

Denzell J. Harris, of 30277 Ridgeview Drive, faces counts of fourthdegr­ee felony marijuana traffickin­g, fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools, misdemeano­r marijuana possession, misdemeano­r possessing marijuana parapherna­lia and misdemeano­r traffic offenses, including speeding and no seat belt.

If convicted of the two felony charges alone, Harris could receive up to 2 1/2 years’ confinemen­t.

He’s being held on a $50,000/10 percent cash or surety bond and has a pretrial/preliminar­y hearing scheduled Nov. 2, his arraignmen­t paperwork confirms.
