Man arraigned on drug trafficking count
A 24-year-old Wickliffe man arrested Oct. 27 by Mentor police faced a judge in Mentor Municipal Court on drug and other charges, court records show.
Denzell J. Harris, of 30277 Ridgeview Drive, faces counts of fourthdegree felony marijuana trafficking, fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools, misdemeanor marijuana possession, misdemeanor possessing marijuana paraphernalia and misdemeanor traffic offenses, including speeding and no seat belt.
If convicted of the two felony charges alone, Harris could receive up to 2 1/2 years’ confinement.
He’s being held on a $50,000/10 percent cash or surety bond and has a pretrial/preliminary hearing scheduled Nov. 2, his arraignment paperwork confirms.
