Mar­i­lyn Seg­ulin (nee Ponikvar),74, beloved wife of Richard Seg­ulin for 53 years, passed away sud­denly on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 29, 2017.

Lov­ing mother of Rick, Robert (Tammy), Paula Ranker (Erik) and Lynn Marie Bron­czek; and grand­mother of Therese, Erika, Libby, Marie, and Made­lynn. Sis­ter to An­thony Ponikvar (Diane), Ed­ward DiFiore (Jean); and sis­ter-in-law to Wil­liam Seg­ulin (Mickey).

Mar­i­lyn was pre­ceded in death by Ed­ward and Pauline DiFiore and Louie and Doris Ponikvar. She re­tired from Geauga Hos­pi­tal af­ter more than 20 years and was a long time mem­ber of the par­ish of St. He­len Church in New­bury, Ohio. Mar­i­lyn loved game shows, cross en­ter­tain­word puz­zles, trivia, read­ing the lat­est novel sand­ing friends and fam­ily. Mostly Mar­i­lyn loved her chil­dren and grand­chil­dren.

Vis­i­ta­tion Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Don­ald A. Faul­haber Fu­neral Home, 7915 Broad­view Road (at Sprague).

Prayers at the fu­neral home Thurs­day, Novem­ber 2 at 10:30 a.m. fol­lowed by 11:00 a.m. Mass of Chris­tian Burial at St. Colum­bkille Church, 6740 Broad­view Road. Pri­vate burial at a date to be de­ter­mined. Faul­haber­fu­ner­al­ “We lost the smart one.” Said grand­daugh­ter, Maddy.
