Funeral services for Willard D. Worden will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesvill­e, Ohio.

Family and friends may call 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Worden was born September 18, 1935 in Meadville, PA. He passed away October 29, 2017.

Willard and Shir ley owned and oper and ated Shoreline Trucking for 38 years currently own County Waste Services.

He enjoyed his horses and loved to go trail riding. He also collected antique tractors. But most of important of all were the times he had with his grandchild­ren; he loved spending time with all of them.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley (Clemson) Worden; children, Pamela (Gary) Smith, Dale Worden, Connie (Doug) Lauer, and Jodi (Don) Green; grandchild­ren, Sheri Smith, Julia Smith, Alysia (Joe) Marcotte, Brandon (Stephanie) Lauer, Dianna Lauer, Leah Green, and Gavin Green; nine great grandchild­ren and two great-great-grandWorde­n; children; brothers, Ronald Worden, and Darwin sister, Dianna Cox.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Hazel (Davenport) Worden.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Willard’s memory to Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicoth­e Road, Novelty, Ohio 44072.
