Man arraigned on drug-related charges
A Cleveland man arrested in Mentor faced a judge there Nov. 13 on multiple charges stemming from a Nov. 10 traffic stop, Mentor Municipal Court records show.
Darrell C. Woodland, 27, of 7006 Clement Ave., No. 2, is charged with thirddegree felony tampering with evidence (MDMA and bath salts); fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of MDMA; one minor misdemeanor count each of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia possession; unclassified misdemeanor no operator’s license; and one minor misdemeanor count each of driving in marked lanes, excessive window tint and tail lights/rear-license-plate illumination required.
If convicted of the felony offenses alone, Woodland could receive up to four years behind bars. His bond was set at $50,000/10 percent cash or surety and his pretrial/ preliminary hearing is scheduled Nov. 16, according to court files.
