Local students earn scholarship at JCU
John Carroll University has named 52 incoming freshmen natiowide to its prestigious Honors Program, including students from local communities. Each of the students selected for the program receives a $5, 000 annual merit scholarship.
More than 325 highly qualified students applied for the distinguished program.
In addition to the annual scholarship and priority course registration status, incoming members of the Honors Program also receive the following benefits:
Honors Program Book Award: Costs are covered for all textbooks in required Honors courses.
Honors Pathway Award: Up to $3, 000 will be awarded for engaging in experiential learning during sophomore or junior year.
Honors Capstone Award: $1, 500 awarded after the final Honors Program requirement is completed.
An opportunity to be part of a living-learning community with other stu- dents in Signature Programs (Leadership Scholars and Arrupe Scholars).
