“We’re excited about this new program for the holiday season,” said Site Manager Todd Arrington in the release. “This time of year is a favorite for many, and the Garfield property — nicknamed ‘Lawnfield’ during Garfield’s 1880 presidential campaign — is really beautiful in this late fall/early winter period. If this program proves popular, we may make this an annual tradition here at James A. Garfield National Historic Site.”
