Joseph John Trivisonno, age 84, of Mentor, formerly of Willoughby, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Dec. 7, 2017. Joe was born on April 8, 1933 in land, Ohio to John and Mary (DiCicco) Trivisonno. Joe “Jo-Jo” and his wife Sally (Riley) celebrated 61 years of a wonderful riage in July. He is survived by Sally. He was the loving father of Lori (George) Chay, Marcia (Scott) Goodhue, Joe Jr. (Susan) Trivisonno and Steve (Pam) Trivisonno. He was the devoted father to Tiffany and Brittany Chay, Jennifer Allen (Goodhue), Katie and Melissa Goodhue, Joe and Andy Trivisonno and Tori and Kari Trivisonno. He was also Great-grandfathe­r to Nora Allen. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Ted (Burnie) Riley and Fred (Verna) Riley and sister-in-law Betty Trivisonno, many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, thony, Mike and Louis and sisters, Ann (Dolsak) and Mary (Hrusch), his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Judy and Bob Fisher and sister-in-law Evelyn (Mike) Pipoly.

Joe taught for 30 years at Collinwood High School in land and Charles F. Brush High School in Lyndhurst. He was also the Head Football coach, first at Collinwood and then at Brush.

Joe was a 3 sport athlete at Collinwood and excelled at football. He received a scholarshi­p and played football for Woody Hayes at The Ohio State University. He was a ber of the 1957 National Championsh­ip team and also ceived 2 pairs of “Gold Pants” for wins against Michigan.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 18th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home, 5975 Mayfield Rd., Mayfield Heights, OH 44124.

The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:00am at St. John Vianney Church in Mentor. Interment will be at the Western Reserve Memorial Gardens on Chillicoth­e Rd in Chesterlan­d.
