Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, in downtown Willoughby will celebrate love, Feb. 11, 2018. As part of the 200th Anniversar­y Celebratio­n, the church invites anyone who was married in or through the church to return for a special celebratio­n. There will be a slide show of photos at 2 p.m., a vow renewal ceremony at 2:30 p.m. followed by a reception in Fellowship Hall. Area residents are invited to the Christmas Eve Candleligh­t Service at Little Church in the Vale, 7 p.m., Dec. 24. The church is at 610 Chagrin River Road in Gates Mills, at the corner of Wilson Mills/Brigham roads. The service will include familiar carols, Bible readings of the birth of Christ, and a brief message about the meaning of Jesus’ birth. The public is welcome. New Year’s Eve services will begin at 7 p.m. There will be a family friendly time of games and fun. Bring the kids, some snacks to share, and your favorite table games.

The WELL open: The WELL, Willoughby House of Prayer 3091 Erie St., Willoughby, invites anyone struggling with addiction or any family member in crisis due to a loved one who is addicted to come in 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays for prayer. The WELL is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday

through Saturday exception of Thursday. All are welcome. Bible classes: Want to take Bible school classes without moving away? You can attend Abundant Life Bible Training Center from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturdays beginning in September. The course will use the AFCMITC DVD Bible school course in order to grow faith and knowledge of God and the Bible. Reiki offered: Faith Church Mentor, 5885 Hopkins Road, Mentor, will offer free Reiki Therapy at 2 p.m. the third Sunday of each month in the newly renovated healing center. Night of support: The WELL, Willoughby House of Prayer is offering a night of support for families in alcohol and drug crisis. Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. there is a prayer team at the WELL located at 4091 Erie St., Willoughby. So many families feel like a statistic in the drug epidemic in our country. We want you to know there are people who care about you and your family. We believe in a God that hears us when we pray.

Volunteers sought: The WELL, Willoughby House of Prayer is looking for volunteers. Those with a desire and a heart for prayer or those who need the power of prayer are welcome to join the volunteer team of prayer warriors.
