Bill was born Nov. 22, 1939 to William L. and Helen (Poole) Alvey in ville, Ohio.

Bill was drawn in by the Love of Christ and at the young age of 8, he knew he wanted to be a Pastor. His course of faith and giving led straight on from there. But that wasn’t enough for Rev. Bill…he gave not only to his congregations, but to his community. Bill was a Shriner and a Mason. He was a member of the Madison Historical Society and Eastern Star. Bill helped the Salvation Army and was a volunteer fireman in Crooksville. He even reached beyond the local community as a volunteer in Heifer International, a global nonprofit that works to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable, values-based holistic community opment.
