Tri-C seeking public comments
Cuyahoga Community College announced it is seeking public comments about the college as part of the institution’s regular reaffirmation of accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission.
The commission conducts comprehensive evaluations of member institutions to confirm that they continue to meet the Criteria for Accreditation, are pursuing institutional improvement and comply with requirements set by the U.S. Department of Education, according to a news release.
A team from the Commission will conduct a site visit at Tri-C on Feb. 19-20 as part of the review. And as part of the process, the commission invites the public to submit comments regarding substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs, the release stated.
The public can submit comments through Jan. 19 by visiting www. hlcommission.org/ comment or by mail to the following address: Public Comment on Cuyahoga Community College, Higher Learning Commission, 230 S. LaSalle St., Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604-1411.
